With summer right around the corner, the inner shopaholic within me decided it was time to add a couple extra items to my closet - beach themed of course.

I bought this beautiful, striped bardot top from New Look and it's made in this breezy linen material. This would be perfect with denim shorts for a surfy, effortless look. It was only £15.99 and with that cheeky student discount I got a whole £1 taken off! (Can you sense the sarcasm?)

I then nipped in to my local Next Clearance for a rummage as it always has good finds, and it turned out that day I was meant to find these shoes. They are everything I never knew I needed and for only £8, my bank account thanked me as well. They are the perfect classy summer shoe; nude, patent, open and comfortable. If you're not feeling the wobbly bambi look at your pool party, then these are the excellent alternative. I couldn't find the exact Next ones I bought online, but I found a similar pair on ASOS.

You only bought one pair of shoes??? HA. Don't be silly. Of course I just had to purchase some sandals; it is nearly summer after all. These beauties were freshly picked from the racks at Primark and you'd never be able to tell they were only £10! You will probably be able to find them at your local store but if not here are some similar ones I found on Primark's website.

Whilst in Primark, I also purchased two cute bags. The aztec inspired beach bag (find similar here) looked like something you'd find in Accessorize, but at a cheaper price tag of £10. I also bought this cute little cactus printed canvas bag, cause they're lightweight and perfect for little walks in summer. Plus, it was only £1.50!! GO, GO, GO get one!

The last thing I saw and immediately put in my basket was this jewel headband. A DIY lightbulb went off in my head the minute I saw it and I instantly thought, "that would make such a cute choker". I thought it would go perfectly with the bardot top/denim shorts combo I had envisioned for myself, therefore for only £3, I was taking this baby home.

Well, there you have it. I hope you enjoyed my little summery themed haul and let me know what you think of the things I picked up. Also, let me know if you like the new photography that I'm trying out!

Much Love, Katie x
